Q. If a book in our catalog is checked out, how soon can I request that it be returned so I can read it?

The library will wait three (3) weeks before requesting the return of a checked out book.

We can't guarantee when the book will be returned.

Alternatives to waiting for the book to be returned are to find a copy of the book in another library where you have borrowing privileges or try Interlibrary Loan.
